In the current <\/span>project<\/span> we <\/span>validate<\/span>d<\/span> the efficacy of a video stream<\/span>–<\/span>based pallet detection system<\/span> testing<\/span> in collaboration with AS <\/span>Valdek<\/span> in a realistic production process scenario. We <\/span>implemented<\/span> a custom pallet tracking solution based on <\/span>Mask<\/span> DINO model published in 2023, that we amended with a filtering solution. We improve<\/span>d<\/span> the performance of the <\/span>models to <\/span>optimize<\/span> hardware resource <\/span>requirements<\/span>,<\/span> we managed to go from running 4 simultaneous video streams in a single computer to 15<\/span>. In addition, we compare<\/span>d<\/span> the results of the video-based tracking with the data from the information system of the company to, on the one hand detect the quality of detections and, on the other hand, detect imperfections of the data represented in the information system.<\/span> As a result of the project, the system running in the factory of AS <\/span>Valdek<\/span> being able to perform real-time detections. The system <\/span>needs further development<\/span> by AS <\/span>Valdek<\/span> to further filter the detections from video streams <\/span>in order to<\/span> use it in production.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
