The demo project proved that an effective quality control solution can be created using the <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW138034384 BCX0\">Ultralytics<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\"> Yolo v8 algorithm. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\">T<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\">he project<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\"> started with software<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\"> and hardware <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\">research. I<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\">n parallel with the camera setup and detection software <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\">validation<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\">, the hardware was <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\">modelled<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\"> and 3D printed for installation<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\">.<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\"> The solution has been set up in the factory and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\">fitted<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\"> to the knitting machine, where it detects the defects that occur during knitting. Although it is not possible to accurately assess the material losses, since the solution has not been in use in the company for a long time, it can already be said that the solution is very promising and when detecting a faulty mop, it displays the location and accuracy of the fault on the screen, and gives a sound signal and a light signal when the fault has occurred. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun AdvancedProofingIssueV2Themed SCXW138034384 BCX0\">The end result<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW138034384 BCX0\"> is a solution that can effectively improve the quality control process.
