Increasing the competitiveness of enterprises through digitalisation and robotisation
We invite you to attend a seminar where we will discuss the needs of businesses to strengthen their competitiveness and capacity, and present solutions and services from AIRE’s own portfolio of partners as well as from AIRE’s cooperation partners, tailored to their needs. The seminar is organised by IMECC OÜ in cooperation with Viljandimaa Development Centre.
TARGET GROUP: Small and medium sized manufacturing (EMTAK C) or production companies and individual places for participants from large companies are welcome.
The course is aimed at employees of industrial enterprises who wish to learn about the possibilities of digitalisation of production and to gain insights into ways to develop their business and increase their competitiveness. Occupational fields: industrial plant managers, production managers, development managers, etc.
The training will be conducted by (name of the institution and lecturers): IMECC, Jüri Riives and Tõnu Lelumees.
Guest speakers (e.g. company representatives): Ragnar Tammsalu, Tactical Solution OÜ.
OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE:
To acquire knowledge on how to strengthen the competitiveness and capability of a company through digitalisation, and to gain knowledge on how to plan needs-based development activities.
TOPICS:
- Smart technologies and how they can be put to good use
- How to make the most of digital technologies and how to make the best use of them
- Providing feedback on the results of the Digital Maturity Assessment and proposing initial options for solutions.
- Presentation of AIRE partners’ service portfolio and partner services
Upon successful completion of the training, learners will gain knowledge:
- Fundamentals of business competitiveness
- Digital maturity assessment
- Business development opportunities through robotisation and digitalisation.

TEACHERS:
Jüri Riives (IMECC OÜ) is the founder of IMECC OÜ and a professor at Tallinn University of Technology. Jüri is the chairman of the board of the Estonian Engineering Industry Association (1999-2009). Jüri has extensive entrepreneurial experience and is an expert in industrial robotics, digitalisation, cost-efficient manufacturing (including Lean) and industrial business model development.
Ragnar Tammsalu is a member of the board of Tactical Solution OÜ. Previously, he worked as an industrial and export development manager at Viljandimaa Development Centre.
The gateway to AIRE’s services is the company’s Digital Maturity Assessment (DMA) consulting service, which helps map your company’s strengths, bottlenecks and their impact on your business. For the first time, or if it is more than 1 year since the previous digital maturity assessment, the AIRE target company will receive a de minimis DMA consultancy service (€600) from IMECC OÜ upon enrolment. After enrolment, the company will have access to the digital maturity assessment environment.
Pre-registration is essential for the training. The grant for participation in the training will be treated as de minimis aid (de minimis aid) for companies, amounting to €480 per participant.
By registering for the training, the company confirms that it is authorised to use the balance of the VTA for participation, which will be registered in the register of State aid to enterprises as a co-financing fee for participation in the project “AI & Robotics Estonia (EDIH)”.
