Turbulent times prevail in the industrial sector, and there is probably no company today that has not been directly or indirectly affected by the sharp increase in energy prices and labor input prices, unstable supply chains and changes in export markets or customer relationships. In the wind of this confusion, there are many winners and losers, writes Martin Goroško, business development manager of the research and business campus Tehnopol.
One of the key points in achieving future security today is undoubtedly smart and quick decisions: how to manage the strategic position of an industrial company in the market; how to initiate a change of course from a service company to a product company; how to increase the level of digitization in production; or how to take targeted actions in the direction of exporting and launching new customer segments, moving in the value chain to a company with greater added value.
