2024: Testing of quality assurance for the production of microorganisms with AI based genom search
This project aimed to validate an AI solution to address the challenge of quality assurance for the production of microorganisms, which requires thorough and high-level quality processes, including checking bacterial strains and continuously assessing their metabolic residue production capacity. The project prepared and tested an AI-based tool that prepares and conducts automated background research and genomic searches on strains sampled from production. The project involved creating two workflows which facilitate the genomic search process. Additionally, AI-driven conversation agents were developed to connect production data with scientific literature, enhancing data value. The project successfully reduced the time spent by microbiologists on routine tasks, allowing them to focus on more productive activities. The solution is scalable and potentially applicable in various life science fields
