2024: Testing of source independent sensor fusion model for localization on the vessel
VizTrack Estonia OÜ deals with the development and production of a logistics digitization solution for RoRo terminals, the purpose of which is to automate the automatic detection of trailer loading operations in the port area. When each trailer is loaded, its original location is recorded, a unique code is identified and it is shown where it is unloaded on the ship. For orientation inside the ship, a technology has been developed that allows the precise location of the trailer to be detected without using GNSS using the combination of camera, inertial and other sensors, i.e. fusion. In this project, we combine sensor fusion and machine learning, so that the location detection inside the ship is as accurate as possible in this environment. Based on this information, a digital model of port loading operations and a loading list for ships are created and tested.
