The smart management system of the dryer creates conditions for the implementation of AI in grain dryers. Currently, batch dryers are operated by individuals who need to be present on-site due to the control system. Digitalization enables remote management capabilities along with the application of a machine learning model for the drying process. The model describing the drying of the grain serves as an on-site assistant for the operator and provides the estimated completion time for each batch. This solution allows for energy savings and has a significant positive environmental impact.
