Automation technologies and solutions on the examples of ABB RobotStudio and B&R Industrial Automation technologies (wood and furniture industry orientation, in English)
AIRE in cooperation with ABB will conduct a one-day introductory training to demonstrate the applications of ABB RobotStudio and B&R Industrial Automation technologies. The training focuses on examples from the wood and furniture industry, and the training is conducted by ABB experts, specialists, and a Lithuanian company that implements industrial automation projects will be a guest speaker with practical stories. The training will be held in English.
Participation in the training is considered as minor assistance (VTA) in the amount of €480 per participant.
TARGET GROUP
Small and medium-sized processing industry (EMTAK C) and manufacturing companies are invited to participate.
The training is aimed at employees of industrial companies who want to get acquainted with the possibilities of production automation, modern solutions and industrial robotics and automation (industrial managers, engineers, foremen, automatists, mechatronics, technicians and locksmiths, industrial operators, product manufacturers, warehouse workers, electricians, IT specialists, etc.).
PURPOSE
The purpose of the training is to introduce the technologies of ABB RobotStudio and B&R Industrial Automation and, based on these technologies, practical applications and modern solutions in industrial automation. To present practical experience stories of wood and furniture industry automation and introduce the possibilities of artificial intelligence application.
THEMES
– Introduction to RobotStudio; ways of programming
– Work simulation (digital twins) and its modern applications
– Introduction of B&R Industrial Automation technology and automation possibilities and solutions based on it
– The role of artificial intelligence and application examples based on AI-premise technology (simulations, industrial automation).
– ABB’s new trends and development directions
– Directly from industry to industry – Experience stories of automation projects in the wood and furniture industry of the Lithuanian robotics company Robotex (in the portfolio IKEA, Baltic Block, SBA Group)
Upon successful completion of the training, students will gain the knowledge of:
• Learn about the possibilities of using the RobotStudio programming software
• Knowledge of the nature and application of industrial simulation
• Knowledge of virtual robot systems on the examples of ABB robots
• About the nature and practical applications of B&R Industrial Automation technology
• Knowledge of modern industrial automation application examples
The training is conducted by ABB’s specialist experts and specialists. The guest speaker is Robotex, a Lithuanian company that implements experienced industrial automation projects. Those who complete the training receive a certificate of further training from Tallinn University of Technology. The deadline for registering for the training is March 28, 2023

• The gateway to AIRE services is the company’s digital maturity assessment consulting service, which is carried out during and after the training. Service introduction HERE.
• Participation in the training is free for companies of the target group that have a free balance of minor aid (VTA) (the limit is 200,000 euros per company over three financial years).
• In the event of participation in the training, the company is given minor aid by the state in the amount of €480, per participant.
• By registering for the training, the company confirms permission to use the VTA balance for participation, which is non-refundable in case of non-participation of the participant in the training (up to 10 working days before the start) or interruption.
• If desired, it is also possible to participate in the training on the basis of an invoice (including employees of large companies).
