Despite the fact that many Estonian companies are intimidated by the idea of using AI in their day-to-day work, digital and AI consultant Lauri Antalainen encourages companies to get started.

“Voice-controlled warehouse management, automated order management, automation of quotations are just a few examples to start with. Every industrial company has the potential to successfully implement AI or its enabling technologies,” explains Antalainen. “Faster, more efficient, more fault-tolerant processes and shorter service times are just a few of the ways in which automation can help keep an industrial company competitive.” He adds that even if a company is not yet ready to adopt AI, it is possible to test the enabling technologies and use them to make a company more efficient and profitable.
