AIRE club #14
On April 5, we invite all representatives of companies interested in automation to participate in the AIRE #14 club event in Kohtla-Järve. The event will be held as a follow-up event of the information day “Thoughtful use of technologies increases productivity” organized by the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Center AIRE, the Digital and Green Technologies Innovation Center of the Virumaa College of the University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology (VIDRIK) and the Ida-Viru Entrepreneurship Center (IVEK).
In the introductory part of the seminar held in the study building of TalTech Virumaa College, TalTech researchers give an overview of the importance, trends and trends of automation. The companies then present various automation options and practical solutions. In the last part of the AIRE Club of the Info Day, researchers from the University of Tartu and TalTech, the partner university of the AIRE Center, will present innovative special solutions in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics created to increase the competitiveness of Estonian industrial companies.
By participating in the event, they can:
➠ useful tips for companies starting with digitization as well as those already practicing digital solutions;
➠ information about innovative artificial intelligence and robotization special solutions that are not offered as off-the-shelf solutions;
➠ an overview of the supporting services offered by the artificial intelligence and robotics center AIRE to Estonian industrial companies.
After the inspiring presentations, participants will have the opportunity to network and exchange contacts and get a personal approach to the AIRE service framework. The event will be held in Estonian, but simultaneous translation into Russian will be provided. Also, several presenters and AIRE representatives will be ready to communicate with the participants in both Estonian and Russian at the end of the event.

14:00-14:15 Opening remarks about the services of the artificial intelligence and robotics center AIRE and the possibilities of the near future, Helen Jõesaar, coordinator of business cooperation at the University of Tartu, and Evelin Ebruk, the head of customer relations of the artificial intelligence and robotics center AIRE.
14:15 – 14:30 Automation and robots around us, how the University of Tartu can help as an AIRE partner, Alvo Aabloo, Institute of Technology, University of Tartu.
14:30 – 14:45 AIRE demo project AI solutions in the furniture industry, Eduard Ševčenko, Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu.
14:45-15:00 Artificial intelligence-based condition monitoring of industrial equipment in cooperation with Pentamet OÜ, Vahur Maask (professor Argo Rosin), Tallinn University of Technology Institute of Electrical Power and Mechatronics.
