At sTARTUp Day aire hosted european partners and shared inspiring artificial intelligence case studies
The events of sTARTUp Day can be summarized as follows: a ton of new knowledge, networking, inspiring presentations, meaningful conversations, and discussions.
The AI & Robotics Estonia team contributed to the event by sharing artificial intelligence case studies and bringing the knowledge of international experts to Estonia.
On the Insight stage, AIRE’s artificial intelligence expert Otto Mättas spoke about case studies where artificial intelligence is used for the development of products and production, leveraging the synergy between researchers and industry pioneers (MindChip, Milrem), or creating new manufacturing technology from scratch (Raiku Packaging).
During the AIRE club #21 event held at Tartu Kammivabrik on the evening of January 25, international experts introduced different aspects of artificial intelligence to support artificial intelligence investments in the society. The club event brought together about a hundred people – visionaries, startups, AI enthusiasts, and experts from Europe and beyond.
Experts shared experience stories and knowledge on how to ensure success in artificial intelligence projects and how to overcome typical and often recurring challenges faced by SMEs and startups on this journey.
The networking event organized by AIRE also brought together experts from the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) from 10 European EDIHs, including: ARIC (Germany), ShiftLabs (Sweden), Health Data Sweden (Sweden), FAIR (Finland), Robocoast (Finland), Location Innovation Hub (Finland), HealthHub (Finland), Lithuanian Innovation Centre (Lithuania), Digital Accelerator of Latvia (Latvia), and AI & Robotics Estonia AIRE (Estonia).
European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) such as AI & Robotics Estonia and others play a central role in supporting SMEs and startups on their journey of digitization and the adoption of artificial intelligence.
Networking events provide a good platform for sharing knowledge and cross-border cooperation. It offers excellent opportunities for companies, because the EDIH network provides many services and training courses across Europe.
The event was conducted in English, and presentations can be found here:
